WHO ARE WE?
The research of the Center is coordinated by Erich R.Trevisiol. Other professors currently participating in the Center research efforts include:Edoardo Salzano, P. F. Ghetti, Sergio Los, Domenico Patassini, Giovanni Zannoni, Virginio Bettini, Giovanni Battista Stefinlongo, and Giorgio Gianighan, and Fabio Selva. INDIVIDUAL BIOGRAPHIES OF PRINCIPAL MEMBERS
Erich R. TREVISIOL

Erich Trevisiol has been a researcher at the Dipartment of Economic
and Social Regional Analysis (DAEST) at the University of Architecture
in Venice, Italy since 1976. Since 1989 he has taught Environmental Planningat
the Post-Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning for Developing
Countries (PVS). He has worked on projects involving urban environmental
management in countries in Europe and in the developing world. He has conducted
extensive research in the field of environmental planning, specifically
in the fields of landscape design, protected areas, and water resources.

Erich has provided technical and scientific consulting for local administrations
and associations (Legambiente, ANAB, INBAR), non-profit organizations (Forum
Per La Laguna di Venezia), and international organizations (UNCHS - HABITAT).

Stefano PARANCOLA
A 1994 graduate of the IUAV, architect, and expert in the integrated
management of the water cycle, Stefano Parancola teaches courses in bioecological
architecture at several universities and for various other national organizations.He
is a member of the scientific commission of Legambiente of Padua and conducts
research both for CNR and MURST. As a consultant, Stefano has participated
in a wide range of bioecological architecture projects. He has counciled
several architecture students of the IUAV in thesis preparationand is co-author
of Manuale di Biofitodepurazione, Edicom, Monfalcone (Go)(1995), L'acqua
salvata, (1997, edited by) Edicom, Monfalcone (Go). He has also tutored
workshop students in the principles of bioecological architecture.
Fabiola BRAZZALE
fabrazza@iuav.it
Graduated at the IUAV on 1998 she takes care of water-cycle sustainable
projects.
Winner of the third place on the IUAV 1999 competition, concerning
the re-qualification of the INA-CASA Forcellini district in Padova. Expert
at bio-building industry for several National Associations of this field,
starting from 1998 she is consultant on researches financed by the CNR
and the MURST. Fabiola gives cooperation and advices on qualified bio-city
and on water-cycle related planning projects.
